One day after school, my family and I went out to get something warm to drink. I got apple cider with pumpkin spice. I loved it, and was inspired to make the spice myself. So we pulled up a recipe from the Farmer’s Almanac.
Recipe:
- 1/3 cup ground cinnamon.
- 1 tablespoon ground ginger.
- 1 tablespoon ground nutmeg (we used freshly ground)
- 1-1/2 teaspoons ground cloves.
- 1-1/2 teaspoons ground allspice.
Add everything together, then, put in a far and shake. We are keeping in a shaker so we can sprinkle on everything like hot cider, pancakes, french toast, caramelized bananas, yogurt, apples, ice cream and more! Enjoy, Emily
